58) Abba's Spanish version of "Thankyou for the Music", demontrating that even the sensible Swedes can commit fashion suicide. Benny looks particularly frightful!
59) I can't quite work out if Mike is wearing a dress here, or some kind of "Plan Nine From Outer Space" style space wear. Either way, the Harpo Marx hair style manages to make things even worse!
60) American bands such as "Earth Wind and Fire" and "Parliament" etc used to have some pretty ridiculous stage outfits during this period of music. However, when it came down to downright awful, no one could beat UK bands such as the Bay City Rollers (see before), Gary Glitter and the Glitter Band (above). There were LOTS of others as well.
61) Heatwave Boogie Nights" cover. Another one which brings up the eternal question ... Why can black people wear any kind of silly costume and still look cool, while their white colleagues just look completely stupid? Incidentally, the poor chap in the bottom corner of the shot who looks like he is suffereing from terrible constipation is Rod Temperton, who went on to become one of the most sucessful songwriters in the world ... he wrote a large chunk of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" and George Benson's "Give Me the Night" among other things.
Thanks to Johnno in Australia for this one. He received it as a Christmas present from a "friend" apparently ... I can see why you used quotation marks there Johnno!
62 ) ... I rest my case!
